Testing the Web Application
1. Download JWSDP from
http://java.sun.com/webservices/downloads/webservicespack.html
2. Install JWSDP
3. Unzip the source code of this article
and copy the 'usingjsf' directory into 'JWSDP_HOME/webapps'
4. Unzip one of the JSF demos from JWSDP_HOME/jsf/samples
such as 'jsf-guessNumber.war' with 'jar xf jsf-guessNumber.war'
and copy its 'WEB-INF/lib' into 'JWSDP_HOME/webapps/usingjsf/WEB-INF'
5. Start JWSDP
6. Open your browser and request
http://localhost:8080/usingjsf |
